About Circle Program
Girls begin their Circle Program experience with a three-week session at Circle Camp on Spectacle Pond in Groton, NH, which provides the foundation for our entire program. After camp each girl is paired with a volunteer woman mentor from her community. The girls and mentors meet throughout the school year for one-on-one activities as well as for group community service projects. These activities allow the girls to maintain the connections and friendships they made at camp, as well as give back to the communities that support them. Girls return to camp for a second summer followed by another year with their mentor. For more information on the Circle Program and how it works, contact us by phone or email. Every activity and interaction at Circle Camp is seen as an opportunity to promote the girls’ personal and social growth. Our core camp programs and activities include swim instruction, canoe and kayaking, adventure programs, low ropes course, drama, arts and crafts, creative expression, health and hygiene, nature, and woodworking sessions in collaboration with "Girls at Work." Other activities that are added, either offsite or as guest programs, include high ropes course facilitation at Plymouth State University, hiking, tracking, Squam Lakes Science Center talks, New Hampshire Higher Education Assistance Foundation (NHHEAF) presentations, paddle boarding, sewing and knitting, ukulele playing and more
