On-site at your camp
Available by appointment at your camp after June 29 at no charge or for a fee of $180 if prior to June 23 if unable to attend at prescribed sites as outlined above. Hardship must be demonstrated.
Attendance Criteria
Boat registrations must be submitted to DMV in Concord at least two weeks prior to inspection date, so there is time to process paperwork and courier to Marine Patrol headquarters in Gilford. Must notify Marine Patrol at least one week in advance of inspection site choice, so they can schedule your visit and be sure to have your boat registration when you arrive
Note: Camps may motor to sites on inspection date even though boat is uninspected; Boats must be assembled and ready for inspection
Commercial Boat License Testing
Available in March, April, May and June in Laconia (Marine Patrol new temporary headquarters)

Also Saturday Friday June 5, and Friday June 26 at Laconia.
For June 26, priority is for re-testing for those who may have failed in their first attempt

Material in CBL is covered in NH Boater Safety Course (including practice tests) which is available at www.marinepatrol.nh.gov/commercialboating
Boat New Hampshire publication may be used instead of website. DVD also available through NHCDA.
Marine Safety Services for NH Summer Camps
All inspection and testing sites are open to the public. To schedule an inspection/testing, please call 603-293-2037 and select option 2. Appointments must be made a minimum of 7 days in advance. No inspections or exams will be scheduled without the Marine Patrol having possession of the associated paperwork.
