About William Lawrence Camp
Since 1913 William Lawrence is a traditional residential camp for boys that endeavors to provide a framework that will physically and mentally challenge a camper to become a ‘whole’ person not just a specialist. Values are stressed daily while teaching good citizenship and character. Our balanced program allows campers safe and supportive opportunities to expand their base of skills while enhancing self confidence and self esteem. The program includes many waterfront activities (including swimming sailing kayaking waterskiing and fishing) team sports (including basketball soccer arena soccer street hockey tennis volleyball touch rugby cricket and ultimate frisbee) wilderness trips (both extended backpacking and canoe trips in northern New England) an outdoorsman program (including riflery archery outdoor living skills fly fishing fly tying and skeet shooting) a challenge course (featuring both high and low elements) crafts (including woodworking and arts & crafts) and much much more. We are a relatively small camp with an excellent camper to staff ratio. Boys feel at home in our family atmosphere. We have a loyal professional staff a beautiful facility and great food!
