About Squam Lakes Association
Summer Youth Programs: Located on beautiful Squam Lake in Holderness NH the Squam Lakes Association offers DAY CAMP experiences from nature adventure to backcountry skills. Since 1955 we have introduced youth from grades 3-12 to the natural world and provided opportunities that foster appreciation and stewardship for the environment. Our programs focus on increasing children’s interest in the outdoors team work and skill building experiences. We hike build fires read maps and charts kayak and enjoy camping under the stars. Adventure Vacation Camps: Modeled after our much loved summer camp adventure vacation camps are an extension of the summer FUN with a winter & spring twist. Instead of paddling on the lake campers will snowshoe or cross country ski on the lake. Topics include winter & ice safety snowshoe & cross country ski skills animals and plants in winter ice fishing Earth Day and of course lots of games & adventures.
