About Camp Wediko
Camp Wediko is a mental health treatment camp for young people ages 8 - 19. It is the second longest-running program of its kind in the country and has over 80 years of experience working with the most challenging situations, behaviors and symptoms faced by children and their families today. Camp Wediko is located on a 450 acre camp site in Windsor, NH which is about 2 hours from Boston and 4.5 hours from NYC. Young people are provided with an intensive therapeutic camping experience which helps them to make meaningful changes and get on stronger footing prior to the upcoming school year. Our treatment modalities include individual, group and family therapy as well as wilderness/adventure therapy, behavior modification and restorative practices. We are experts in the areas of trauma, Autism spectrum, mood disorders, ADHD and oppositional/defiant behaviors and we work with almost all mental health diagnoses. Wediko partners with families, schools and other mental health services and uses a team approach to finding workable solutions for each young person we serve.
