  • Attendance Criteria

Commercial Boat License applications must be submitted to DMV in Concord at least two weeks prior to test date. Note: they are willing to process applications without licensee’s signature. All applications must include the licensee’s legal address – not the camp address. When renewing a boat drivers license, it has to be signed by the licensee.

Note: Must notify Marine Patrol at least one week in advance of testing site choice. Marine Patrol will no longer test attendees who they do not have scheduled.

  • Study Guides

Material in CBL test is covered in NH Boater Safety Course (including practice tests) which is available at www.marinepatrol.nh.gov/commercialboating or www.boat-ed.com/newhampshire. Boat New Hampshire publication may be used instead of website for study practice.
