YMCA Camp Coniston is a
coeducational, residential camp. Located on more than 1200 pristine
acres, Coniston is the perfect place for your child to make friendships that
will last a lifetime as well as learn about themselves and the world around
them. Each session we host 372 boys and girls ages 8-15 and our cabin
ratio of 10 campers to 2 staff assures campers the attention they need.
The Boy's and Girl's Camps are on separate sides of Lake Coniston with
shared facilities, such as Dining Hall and Lodge located between. Coniston's philosophy is to utilize its numerous programs to provide individual participants the opportunity to be vital in a larger community. Through this group work campers grow individually in confidence, connectedness, and a sense of purpose. External research and our experience show this process creates young people with tools capable of managing the numerous risks of adolescence. |
