Description: Founded in 1903, Mowglis provides a wholesome and structured summer learning experience through which boys develop confidence, independence, personal resources, and a sense of responsibility toward others and the environment.  In a setting of forests, lakes and mountains, each boy builds friendships and learns valuable lessons, many of which last a lifetime.  From the youngest Cub to the oldest boys in the Pack, each is a valued member of the Mowglis family.  The exemplary Mowglis staff combines its talents and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere that is at once fun, safe, and rewarding.  An enrollment limited to eight-five, and a camper/staff ratio of no more than four-to-one ensure the often stated satisfaction of parents.  The high return rate of their sons in successive seasons proves the validity of the experience and the joy with which boys embrace it.  Mowglis' program encompasses a wide array of traditional activities from swimming and tennis to woodworking and riflery, with a unique emphasis on backpacking, whitewater canoeing and crew.
