Description: Camp Tevya, founded in 1940 by Eli and Bessie Cohen, is an exciting place where children feel safe and secure in a beautiful Jewish camping environment.  Located on picturesque Lake Potanipo, Tevya helps campers learnt to appreciate the values of sharing and working together while developing independence, self-esteem and spirit.  Our full range of activities include aerobics, archery, arts & crafts, athletics, visual & performing arts, waterfront sports, intercamp competition, special events and trips.  At our kosher Jewish Cultural camp, campers experience creative Sabbath services as well as Havdallah, blessings before and after meals, and Israeli songs and dances.  We also offer a CIT / Israel Leadership Program.

Each summer our campers discover new things about themselves, their heritage, and the world around them.  Visit our website for more information, call us for a brochure and let us answer your questions, or schedule an appointment to come visit us next summer so you can see how wonderful Camp Tevya is for yourself!
