Situated on over 200 acres in the Lakes Region, Wanakee United Methodist Center has served the diverse needs of campers for over 45 Years. Wanakee’s programs and facilities encourage personal growth through interaction in family units. Campers love the feelings of warmth and support they receive from other camper and staff. With over 30 unique camp sessions, a camper at Wanakee is sure to find activites of interest. Program offerings of drama, clowning, rock climbing, arts and crafts, mountain biking, music, hiking, ropes course, and group incentives complement traditional faith-based camping activities. Campers participate in daily compfires, multiple outdoor cookouts, outdoor camping, swimming, boating and more.
Facilities include cabin, dining hall, outdoor chapel, lodges, a camping area with all-weather shelter, arts and crafts building and high/low challenge course. Summer rental available. Open off-season for group rentals.
