Description:
Since 1913, William Lawrence is a traditional residential camp for boys that endeavors to provide a framework that will physically and mentally challenge a camper to become a “whole” person, not just a specialist. Values are stressed daily while teaching good citizenship and character. Our balanced program allows campers safe and supportive opportunities to expand their base of skills while enhancing self confidence and self esteem. The program includes many waterfront activities, team sports, wilderness trips, riflery, archery, a challenge course featuring low and high elements, arts and crafts, woodworking and more. A relatively small camp with an excellent camper to staff ratio, boys feel at home in our family atmosphere. We have a loyal, professional staff, a beautiful facility and excellent food.
We believe camp should be more than entertainment.
With fun we also emphasize success, self esteem, leadership, responsibility, sportsmanship and friendships. The best ages to begin camp are Ages 8 to 11. Our camper return rate is 80-90%.
