Description:
Camp Tecumseh is a non-profit residential camp for 160 boys, ages 8 -16, located on 2 miles of beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee shoreline in Center Harbor NH. Founded in 1903 and thriving ever since, it a non-profit, non-sectarian camp with core athletic, drama and mountain trips programs. The 350 acre campus provides venues for archery, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, football, roller hocker, riflery, fencing, soccer, tennis, wrestling, climbing wall, golf, track and field and strength training. The extensive waterfront offers: swimming, water polo, beach volleyball, water-skiing, sailing, canoeing and kayaking, Day and overnight trips into the White Mountains, woodworking and a traditional Gilbert and Sullivan operetta provide balance to a program that aims to strengthen mind, body and traditional family values. Camp has a 1:4 counselor to camper ratio. The Blue-Gray Job/Scholar-ship program provides financial assistance for families on a need basis.
