The New Hampshire Camp Directors Association board of directors has created subcommittees to focus on state government issues as they pertain to the NH summer camp industry. The purpose of each subcommittee is to develop a good working relationship with a state department. It is our hope that this relationship allows us to provide representation as legislation is developed.
One tool we use to stay on top of issues and changes at the state level is our lobbyist. This provides NHCDA with early notice and a road map of the effect of potential rule changes. This often gives NHCDA representatives the chance to weigh in during the development phase so rules are created with the best practices in mind.
During the course of normal business operations our members may find that they have questions about rules or requirements. We have provided contact information for state departments to assist members in finding out the information they require. If you are aware of an issue a subcommittee needs to look into please do not hesitate to contact us.
